State Council’s Vice Chairman receives Polish Deputy Foreign Minister

Hon.Sheikh Dr.Al Khatab bin Ghalib Al- Hinai, State Council Vice Chairman received Maciej Lang, Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy and Development Cooperation, head of the Polish delegation, which is currently visiting Oman.
Cooperation in education and other arenas were the main topics of discussion at the meeting today.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Vice-Chairman welcomed the delegation, praising the relations between Oman and Poland, and the future prospects for their development, especially in the field of education, stressing the role of mutual visits in developing cooperation in varied areas.
He pointed out that the visit coincides with the celebrations of the 49th National Day of Oman, and pointed out that Oman has within forty-nine years of the Blessed Renaissance led by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said achieved remarkable achievements internally and externally, leading to progressive development leaps that have encompassed all parts of the nation. It has establishment-balanced relations globally based on the principles of respect, in addition to supporting regional security and stability and ensuring that it contributes to the establishment of world peace.
Hon.Sheikh Dr. Al Khatab bin Ghalib Al- Hinai presented a profile of the Council and its role in national work.
For his part, Maciej Lang, noted the atmosphere of security and stability that is prevalent in Oman and its comprehensive development, highlighting his country's keenness to develop relations of cooperation with Oman spanning all areas.
The delegation watched a documentary film about the Council and toured its various facilities.
The delegation includes Przemyslaw Bobak, Director of Department of Africa and the Middle East in Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Yan Stanislav Puri, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Oman, and Stefan Heinofinch, Assistant of the Under Secretary of State for Economic Diplomacy, Development Cooperation, Asisa Africa and Middle East Policy.
