Saudi War Course delegation visits State Council

As part of current official visit to the Sultanate, a delegation of the War Course (11) from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia visited the State Council today.
The delegation was received by Hon.Sayyid Dr.Said bin Sultan bin Hamoud al Busaidy, Hon.Dr Rashid bin Salim bin Rashid al Badi and Eng.Adil bin Ahmed bin Abdulmohsin al Lawati, Council members.
Hon.Sayyid Dr Said bin Sultan bin Hamoud al Busaidy welcomed the delegation and hoped that the visit to Oman will achieve its desired objectives in terms of strengthening relations between Oman and Saudi Arabia. He noted the importance of such visits in strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
Al Busaidy presented an overview of the Shura march in the Sultanate and stated that the State Council contributes to national work by carrying out its tasks and exercising its powers, terms of reference related to legislative and regulatory aspects, in addition to contributing to the consolidation of the fundamental values of Omani society and the preservation of its achievements.
For his part, the head of the delegation, Brigadier General Saeed bin Saad Al-Qarni expressed his thanks and appreciation for the good reception, expressed his happiness and members of the delegation to visit Oman and praised in this regard the comprehensive development witnessed in all fields.
During the visit, the delegation were briefed about the Council's various facilities and watched a documentary on the Council.
